Crafting Makes a Difference
For Flourishing Finishes crafting is more than a hobby. It’s a way to you use the skills and desires we’ve been given to spread joy and hope to the world. As a Christian, I am called to do everything as if I’m doing it for Christ. Crafting is no different. So I try to equip and encourage people to use their craft to help those that cannot help themselves.
Ways We Give Back
Card Give Aways
One way we give back is by setting up events where we create a bulk amount of cards to give away. Then we partner with local organizations to put cards in the hands of people who could use a smile.
Ronald McDonald House
A large organization that we partner with is the Ronald McDonal House. We work with them to make sure the kids receive a card when they arrive. This helps the kids feel welcomed and at home.
VA Hospital
I’m very proud of the work we do with local VA Hospitals. We provide cards to show how loved our veterans are. It’s one way we use cards and crafting to provide joy to people who need some.
Local Churches
We work with local churches to help them deliver cards to people in need during tough times. The Church is a major part of who we are at Flourishing Finishes. This is our way to use the creativity God has given us for His glory.
SOAR
SOAR is an organization that seeks to remember soldiers overseas. We partner with them to help make cards that go into care packages. This way we can greet and thank the men and women that serve and protect us.
Levine’s Cancer Infusion Center
Levine’s is an incredible partnership that allows us to provide a little bit of hope to people who desperately need it. We make cards to show people that they care. And we partner with Levine’s to help put a smile on their patient’s faces.
