Hey Stamping Friends!

I know….it’s been a year! Thank you for your patience with me. I’ve really missed videos, sharing projects & connecting with each of you. While it’s completely heartbreaking all that is going on in North Carolina (and all over), I’m really thankful that we have the virtual options we have today to stay close even while we are far away. I really am looking forward to being more pro active & building wonderful relationships with you while we talk, craft & fellowship virtually.

I feel like I should just go ahead and give a few disclaimers…

Please be patient with me & be kind with my videos, they are definitely a work in progress. I can confidentially say I am a mom of 9 & while I can provide you with much humor & chaos (if you stick around long enough), I am not a savvy person online or a confident person in front of the camera. But I’m trying & I’m excited.

Sometimes you’ll find I say “we” a lot. I’m sure it may cause you to ponder my sanity (many who know me well may say this is questionable on any given day, lol). I wanted to just take a minute to say, while I am one person, Flourishing Finishes is only something I can do with the help of many others. Behind the scenes, I have a village that helps me execute my dreams & visions. I’m so thankful for the large number of helpers that truly help me week after week & year after year.

Right now, I wanted to introduce you to my current helpers that make Flourishing Finishes all it is & work towards all I want it to become.

My daughter, Kylie & My husband, Anthony

Kylie is my oldest daughter (16 year old) and is a senior in high school. She’s been stamping with me since she was a toddler & actually loves it. Over the last year, she’s really grown as a person and in the business. She designs for and helps with mother-daughter camps and seasonal orders. She also helps with just about anything else.

Anthony is my biggest supporter and partner in life. A few years ago, when I decided I really wanted to pursue Stampin Up more, he decided he would step up in whatever way needed. While he’s already my biggest helper with all the virtual items I am trying to learn and execute, he also will get his hands dirty. He has helped cut late at night, cook food for team meetings, set up or tear down anything and he even helps me create for camps sometimes (but don’t tell him I told you! lol).

Liz is a close friend & has been my helper for many years. Not only does she help me in my business, but she helps me with my life & my children. Honestly, I don’t even know how to sum her up except she’s my other set of hands I’ve been praying the Lord would grow on me, lol. She embraces my whirlwind of crazy & tackles anything whenever needed. She’s one person who can completely me & read my mind or interupret my words when they don’t come out right (which is a lot ya’ll lol). She does handle a lot of my computer stuff (who has time to sit in front of a computer with 9 children- 1 in college/senior in HS, 7 homeschooled and 1 toddler lol) & is someone my children have grown to love, especially if she brings baby Aiden (who is not a toddler and not a baby lol)

Linda

Linda was my very first helper & over the years it’s only grown our friendship deeper. She’s been helping me with cutting & prepping of camps for many years. She is a pro with all the experience as a stamper she has, which is such a blessing to me! In addition to that, she is an extension of just about anything I need & has been for many years, whether it be helping get children places, read little ones books or help me clean or find things in my stamp room. She helps largely with our outreach opportunities as well. She’s a huge part of our family.

Elena & Debbie

Elena & Debbie started helping me this year & it’s been wonderful.

Elena & Debbie work in the office more with organizing my craft room (ya’ll I don’t know what happens but my office can go from spotless to explosion in 30 minutes flat lol), helping me complete whatever random task is stored in my mind (which I don’t always get out very well) or just about anything else. On top of all that, they will take home whatever bag I set on the porch for them, embrace any crazy I come up with (it’s a lot ya’ll) & even stop mid day if I just need someone to pray with.

Christina & her husband, Drew

Christina started helping me this year, too. She helps me stay up to date on all the online information, especially Stampin Up related. I do have a few other ladies who help with the online aspect of my life & I’m so thankful for them (Robin, Bev & Brandy..I’m sure I’m forgetting a few…ya’ll I struggle to keep up!). Christina is always willing to help me with anything that I ask her to do. Sometimes it can be borderline comical when I ask her to do something and it’s extremely vague (she needs some detail & literally what I gave her is all I got). She laughs and rolls with it. I chose this picture because I felt like I couldn’t leave out her husband, Drew. He is always willing to help the team, me, my family. He has really stepped up to help with team things, especially when my husband can’t be there. He’s a pro at coffee runs for us ladies & he does it all with a smile on his face.

Alison

Alison is Kylie’s close friend & has been working for me for about 6 months. Ironically, she kind of stumbled across the job & is fabulous at it. Spending a lot of time over here caused her to see a weekly problem of me needing Kylie’s help & Kylie being super busy (and unavailable or just a teenager unwilling lol). Alison willingly stepped up and offered to help. Over time, it became a joke where she’d tell Kylie “it’s ok, don’t work, more hours for me. lol”. She helps me put together things & even helps me design things & get out of my box. She loves working behind the scenes.

Some where along the way, the Lord knew I needed a village to help me do life. For some reason my 9 children, my messy house, my scatted brain, my crazy natural views, my homeschooling day or my love for Jesus hasn’t scared these people off…. and for that I am so thankful! My village includes so many people like this not listed, as well and I’m so thankful. I felt like it was so important to share those who truly help make my life complete, making my business a dream come true! I am not a super women & while God knows what he’s doing, I don’t have a clue most days. I look forward to getting to know new friends & as well grow closer to friends I currently have. I’m so thankful to be a part of Stampin Up, but also the community we have created to share life with all of you.

Now, I’ve keep you long enough. Thank you for taking the time to get to know me. I’d love to hear a little bit about you! Oh, don’t worry….while I didn’t get to anything crafty today, keep an eye out….I promise…I’ve got a short video Monday for all of you.

Until then, I hope you Flourish…
